What size wiper blades does the Honda Civic Type R take?

It changes with the generation: the 2021 - 2026 Hatch (FL5) takes a 650mm driver and 425mm passenger blade plus a 275mm rear; the 2017 - 2021 Hatch (FK8) takes a 650mm driver and 450mm passenger blade plus a 350mm rear; the 2015 - 2016 Hatch (FK2) takes a 650mm driver and 450mm passenger blade plus a 450mm rear — the cards above list every generation we cover. Type your year into the matcher above and we'll confirm the exact kit before you pay.

Does the Honda Civic Type R have a rear wiper?

It depends on the version: Hatch versions take a rear blade, while our Sedan kits are front-only. Pick your year above and the kit page shows the exact-fit rear whenever we stock one.

Are the driver and passenger blades different sizes?

Yes — your Civic Type R runs a 650mm driver-side blade and a 425mm passenger side on the 2021 - 2026 Hatch (FL5). Kits always ship as a matched pair, so you can't order them mixed up.

How do I change the wiper blades on my Civic Type R?

Lift the arm off the glass, press the release tab on the old blade and slide it off, then click the AeroBeam straight on — the connector for your Civic Type R's arm comes pre-fitted, so there's nothing to assemble. It's under two minutes a side with no tools, and your kit page has an install video for your exact arm type.

Are these genuine Honda wiper blades?

No — they're premium aftermarket blades, and that's deliberate. Each AeroBeam is cut to your Civic Type R's exact blade lengths for its generation, with the right OE-style connector pre-fitted so it clicks straight onto the factory arm. You also get fresh all-weather rubber, a 1-year warranty and the Perfect Fit Guarantee.
