What size wiper blades does the HSV XU6 take?

Every HSV XU6 generation we cover takes the same set — a 550mm driver and 500mm passenger blade, from the 1998 - 2000 (VT) through the 2000 - 2002 (VX). Type your year into the matcher above and we'll confirm the exact kit before you pay.

Does the HSV XU6 have a rear wiper?

Every HSV XU6 kit we stock is a front set — none of the generations above includes a rear blade. If your HSV XU6 has a rear wiper and you need it covered, ask us and we'll confirm what fits before you order.

Are the driver and passenger blades different sizes?

Yes — your HSV XU6 runs a 550mm driver-side blade and a 500mm passenger side on the 2000 - 2002 (VX). Kits always ship as a matched pair, so you can't order them mixed up.

How do I change the wiper blades on my HSV XU6?

Lift the arm off the glass, press the release tab on the old blade and slide it off, then click the AeroBeam straight on — the connector for your HSV XU6's arm comes pre-fitted, so there's nothing to assemble. It's under two minutes a side with no tools, and your kit page has an install video for your exact arm type.

Are these genuine HSV wiper blades?

No — they're premium aftermarket blades, and that's deliberate. Each AeroBeam is cut to your HSV XU6's exact blade lengths for its generation, with the right OE-style connector pre-fitted so it clicks straight onto the factory arm. You also get fresh all-weather rubber, a 1-year warranty and the Perfect Fit Guarantee.
