What size wiper blades does the Mazda RX-7 take?

It changes with the generation: the 1992 - 2002 Coupe (FD) takes a 500mm driver and 500mm passenger blade plus a 450mm rear; the 1988 - 1992 Convertible (FC) takes a 500mm driver and 500mm passenger blade; the 1985 - 1991 Coupe (FC) takes a 500mm driver and 500mm passenger blade plus a 450mm rear — the cards above list every generation we cover. Type your year into the matcher above and we'll confirm the exact kit before you pay.

Does the Mazda RX-7 have a rear wiper?

It depends on the version: Coupe versions take a rear blade, while our Convertible kits are front-only. Pick your year above and the kit page shows the exact-fit rear whenever we stock one.

Are the driver and passenger blades different sizes?

On the 1992 - 2002 Coupe (FD) RX-7 both front blades are 500mm — your kit still ships as a matched pair for your exact year, so there's nothing to mix up.

How do I change the wiper blades on my RX-7?

Lift the arm off the glass, press the release tab on the old blade and slide it off, then click the AeroBeam straight on — the connector for your RX-7's arm comes pre-fitted, so there's nothing to assemble. It's under two minutes a side with no tools, and your kit page has an install video for your exact arm type.

Are these genuine Mazda wiper blades?

No — they're premium aftermarket blades, and that's deliberate. Each AeroBeam is cut to your RX-7's exact blade lengths for its generation, with the right OE-style connector pre-fitted so it clicks straight onto the factory arm. You also get fresh all-weather rubber, a 1-year warranty and the Perfect Fit Guarantee.
