What size wiper blades does the Volkswagen Passat take?

It changes with the generation: the 2014 - 2025 Wagon (B8) takes a 650mm driver and 475mm passenger blade plus a 325mm rear; the 2014 - 2025 Sedan (B8) takes a 650mm driver and 450mm passenger blade; the 2010 - 2015 Wagon (B7) takes a 600mm driver and 475mm passenger blade plus a 275mm rear — the cards above list every generation we cover. Type your year into the matcher above and we'll confirm the exact kit before you pay.

Does the Volkswagen Passat have a rear wiper?

It depends on the version: Wagon versions take a rear blade, while our Sedan kits are front-only. Pick your year above and the kit page shows the exact-fit rear whenever we stock one.

Are the driver and passenger blades different sizes?

Yes — your Passat runs a 650mm driver-side blade and a 475mm passenger side on the 2014 - 2025 Wagon (B8). Kits always ship as a matched pair, so you can't order them mixed up.

How do I change the wiper blades on my Passat?

Lift the arm off the glass, press the release tab on the old blade and slide it off, then click the AeroBeam straight on — the connector for your Passat's arm comes pre-fitted, so there's nothing to assemble. It's under two minutes a side with no tools, and your kit page has an install video for your exact arm type.

Are these genuine Volkswagen wiper blades?

No — they're premium aftermarket blades, and that's deliberate. Each AeroBeam is cut to your Passat's exact blade lengths for its generation, with the right OE-style connector pre-fitted so it clicks straight onto the factory arm. You also get fresh all-weather rubber, a 1-year warranty and the Perfect Fit Guarantee.
